PruBSN launched Giro Takaful Hajj with BSN. Giro Takaful Hajj provides protection and savings for future Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. The bancatakaful arrangement between PruBSN and BSN currently has 6 products available.

Khazanah had committed to purchase US$150 mil worth of H-shares in New China Life Insurance Co Ltd. Khazanah currently owns 31.58% stake in ACR Capital Holdings Pte Ltd, which in turn owns Asia Capital Reinsurance Group Ptd Ltd.

Prudential's new business APE hit RM293 mil in Q3 2011, up 14% compared with the corresponding figure last year of RM258 mil.
